NEW Emerging Leaders Program
The Cherokee Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) is a nine-month program designed to create and equip a community of rising servant leaders with a vision for caring for the poor and the environment. We will select 12-15 juniors and seniors from the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill, Duke University, and North Carolina State University. These young leaders will meet for one day each month to learn, serve, and grow together.
Emerging Leaders will follow a unique curriculum and be immersed in a fun, stimulating environment in which ideas are discussed with peers, mentors, and experienced leaders. The program will provide opportunities to develop as thoughtful, creative leaders who will work to tackle some of the most pressing challenges confronting our world.
ELP is an initiative of Cherokee Gives Back, the philanthropic arm of Cherokee Investment Partners. Located in Raleigh, Cherokee is the leading private equity firm investing capital and expertise in brownfield redevelopment. [more] |
