Cherokee Gives Back is dedicated to improving the lives of the world’s poor and disadvantaged by applying sound business practices and compassionate service to catalyze positive, sustainable change. |

| Contributions and Sustainability |
Consistent with Cherokee’s core values, Cherokee Gives Back is focused on creating sustainable revenue to support its activities. Revenues are derived from three sources: (1) donations from individuals and corporations, (2) grants, and (3) real estate development.
Cherokee Gives Back will achieve long-term sustainability by engaging in redevelopment initiatives (unrelated to Cherokee’s activities), where we can make a difference in a community and in the environment, while creating value that can support our good works across the world. |

| Bhopal, India |
Over twenty years after a toxic gas cloud killed thousands of people at a former Union Carbide site in Bhopal, India, the pesticide plant remains idle and contaminated, affecting the health and welfare of the surrounding communities. Gives Back has committed to assist in the cleanup of this environmental catastrophe – pledging our technical support at no charge and up to $1 million in funding.

| |
| Stronger Communities Program |
Our Stronger Communities program seeks to complement the positive work of Cherokee by providing philanthropic activities that alleviate poverty and strengthen neighborhoods in the communities in which the firm serves. Cherokee Gives Back philanthropic activities are wholly separate from investments made by Cherokee.
In late 2006, more than 25 Cherokee employees supported Stop Hunger Now, a nonprofit international relief organization whose mission is to end world hunger in our lifetime. Gives Back matched employee contributions dollar for dollar, and our employees and their families packed food for hungry children at the Operation Sharehouse facility in Raleigh, North Carolina. We also support these charities:
